Surma River Waterkeeper rewards the child artists

Surma River Waterkeeper rewarded three child artists who took part in the two days long art exhibition. The exhibition ends today, March 15, 2016. To observe the ‘’International Day of Action for Rivers’’, Surma River Waterkeeper, Bangladesh Poribesh Andolon (BAPA), UKBET, a UK based trust and Chitran, a fine arts institute, jointly organized a two days long art exhibition in Central Shaheed Minar premises in Sylhet on March 14, 2016. Surma River Waterkeeper and Bangladesh Poribesh Andolon (BAPA), Sylhet chapter have initiated a week long program to observe the ‘’International Day of Action for Rivers’’. The aim of this initiative is to create awareness among people to protect rivers from any kind of threats and engaging them to river protection movement.
