National Committee for Saving the Sundarbans (NCSS) organized a press conference against the Rampal EPC contract signing process of the governments of Bangladesh and India on July 13, 2016 at the 2nd Floor of National Press Club, Topkhana at 11:00 am. The press conference was presided over by the Convener of NCSS Sultana Kamal. Khushi Kabir, veteran human rights activist; MM Akash, Professor, Department of Economics, University of Dhaka; Dr. Iftekharuzzaman, Executive Directo, TIB; Sharif Jamil, Coordinator, Waterkeepers Bangladesh; Risalat Khan, global campaigner (Representative of Bangladesh) at Avaaz and other civil society activists were also present on the occasion.
