On March 22, Friday, Dhoritri Rokhhay Amra (DHORA) and Waterkeepers Bangladesh along with some other organization observed World Water Day 2024 across multiple locations in Bangladesh, aiming to raise awareness about the importance of preserving water resources. Various initiatives were undertaken, drawing active participation from diverse groups such as environmentalists, local communities, and concerned citizens. Events unfolded in Mongla, Barguna, Cox’s Bazar, Taltali, Patharghata, Maheshkhali, Kutubdia, Pekua, and Kalapara from the early hours, dedicated to observing the significance of the day and fostering activities geared towards water conservation.
