On Earth Day 2025, young climate leaders gathered at Nagar Bhaban in Gulshan, Dhaka, for a symbolic event titled “Walk For The Earth.” Organized by Waterkeepers Bangladesh, Brighters Society, CAPS, Earth Day.org, and other youth-led organizations, the event aimed to amplify calls for urgent climate action. The walk from Nagar Bhaban to Shahabuddin Park highlighted the need for renewable energy and sustainable living. Shahriar Shawon of Waterkeepers Bangladesh stressed the significance of this year’s theme, “Our Power, Our Planet,” urging youth to lead efforts in tackling climate change and building a greener future.
