On 9 February 2026, a discussion titled “Challenges and Opportunities for Green Entrepreneurship” was held at the Department of Environment conference room in Agargaon, Dhaka. Jointly organized by Waterkeepers Bangladesh, Centre for Atmospheric Pollution and Studies, and Brighters Foundation, the event brought together youth entrepreneurs to share experiences and explore green entrepreneurship opportunities in Bangladesh. Additional Director General of the Department of Environment, Ziaul Haque, attended as Chief Guest. Speakers included Asif Chowdhury (CPRD), Mir Mohammad Ali (Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University), and Syed Taposh (Waterkeepers Bangladesh). The session was facilitated by Fariha Aumi, emphasizing youth-driven solutions for environmental sustainability.
