COP 30: on November 17, 2025, a protest “Stop Exporting K-Fossil” was held at Belem, Brazil during the Global Day of Climate Action. Organized by Asian Peoples’ Movement on Debt and Development (APMDD) along with allied climate justice groups. The protest was opposing LNG infrastructure promoted by South Korea and there was call for a just and equitable transition away from fossil fuels. South Korea has been blamed for funding overseas fossil fuels including LNG terminals. Sharif Jamil, Coordinator, Waterkeepers Bangladesh participated in the protest and urged to stop fossil fuels expansion.
