As part of the anti-pollution advocacy project, the ‘State of Dhaka Environment’ report will be finalized through subsequent data validation workshops. In this connection of advocacy activity for the project WKB consortium planned to organize the first data validation/report launching workshop. Waterkeepers Consortium lead Sharif Jamil chaired and moderated the workshop. In the workshop consortium member and chairman of Environmental Science, Stamford University Bangladesh presented the collected data and analysis of air, water, and noise pollution levels of Dhaka city. The legal consultant of the project Mohammad Golam Sarwar discussed the existing legislative landscape of environmental laws in Bangladesh. Sumana Binte Masud, Project Management Specialist-Civil Society Advisor, USAID Bangladesh, and Shahid Hossain, Deputy Chief of Partry, PAR/Counterpart International were also presented to the workshop as special guests.
