A review meeting was held among the activists from Mongla, Kalapara and Moheskhali on 19 May 2018 in Dhaka. 
The consultation meeting was presided over by Dr. Mohd. Abdul Matin while Sharif Jamil, joint secretary of BAPA and Coordinator of Waterkeepers Bangladesh gave a presentation on coal pollution and impact on the environment and ecology.
The meeting evaluated the current status of the construction of coal based power plants in their localities and discussed about possible strategy to develop effective and long term people’s movement in Mongla, Kalapara and Cox’s Bazar.
