Waterkeepers Bangladesh and Bangladesh Poribesh Andolon (BAPA) jointly organized a two-day capacity-building training workshop on sustainable development in the coastal region of Cox’s Bazar on Wednesday and Thursday (November 25-26). Cox’s Bazar Additional Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Masudur Rahman Mollah was the chief guest on the first day of the training workshop held under the chairmanship of Central General Secretary of Bangladesh Poribesh Andolon (BAPA) Mr. Sharif Jamil. Convener of the Democratic Budget Movement Monwar Mostafa spoke as a special guest. Manager, Researcher, and Implementation of Waterkeepers Bangladesh S M Arafat was the keynote speaker. Noor Alam Sheikh of BAPA Mongla Branch, Kalim Ullah, General Secretary of BAPA Cox’s Bazar, Jasim Uddin, Co-President, HM Nazrul Islam, Organizing Secretary spoke at the workshop. The workshop was anchored by Fazlul Quader Chy. President of Cox’s Bazar Region of Bangladesh Paribesh Andolan (BAPA).
